Almost two years have past since I wrote my original review of the OnePlus 7T. It has been a great trouble-free phone until a couple of months ago. I believe it may have some sort of hardware screen sensor problem. 90% of the time when you single tap the screen the ambient display doesn’t appear which is highly annoying in the middle of the night when I wake up and want to know what time it is. Less frequently but still quite often, the pull down home screen menu will open when I am not swiping down on the screen. Thirdly, apps will open when holding the phone but not touching the screen in any way and lastly, the battery diminishes much more quickly. Thankfully the warp charging still works well.
I purchased my first computer in 1994. In the 2000s I built the first system for myself. I subsequently built and repaired PCs for family and friends and then for others. I find it to be enjoyable and rewarding.
